MBTA Rider Oversight Committee Seeking New Members

The MBTA Rider Oversight committee (ROC) is a diverse group of riders and MBTA employees who provide recommendations to the MBTA and communicate the needs and concerns of all riders. We are seeking individuals with a strong interest in transit issues and a willingness to make a firm commitment to the Committee’s mission. We require that you be able to commit to meeting twice a month for a total of 3.5 to 4.0 hours per month.

FORUM: Automated Vehicles and the Future of Equity in Public Transit

Please join us for a discussion about how driverless vehicles will potentially impact our public transit systems, and how we can work to develop policies that will ensure that we have a public transit system that is accessible to all.

At this forum, we will encourage participation by the audience. Therefore, after brief remarks by the panelists, we will have at least 30-40 minutes of Q&A between the audience and the panelists.
