The MBTA Rider Oversight Committee has issued a letter expressing their support for the MBTA’s 2024 fare change proposals. “[The MBTA Rider Oversight Committee knows] that despite the significant impact on the MBTA’s operating budget, making access to transit more equitable also provides a great benefit to everyone in the region, and more importantly, it upholds the social contract we have with each other as residents of the Commonwealth.” The entirety of the letter is provided below:
